Salon Policies

Cancellations: 
Your appointments are very important to us at 209 Salon and we understand that sometimes schedule adjustments are necessary; therefore, we respectfully request at least 24 hours' notice of cancellation.  Please understand that when you forget or cancel your appointment without giving enough notice, we miss the opportunity to fill the appointment time, and the clients on our waiting list miss the opportunity to receive services.

Less than 24 hours' notice will result in a charge equal to 50% of the reserved service amount. Appointments made within 24 hour period must give at least a 4 hour notice of cancellation before the appointment time or will be required to pay up to 50% of services. 

No Show Policy:
If you are more than 15 minutes late, you are considered a no show.  Once you are considered a no show, you will be required to pay for your next scheduled services in full before you can schedule your next reservation.  

Once a client fails to show up to two or more appointments, they will no longer be able to schedule at 209 Salon.

Deposit
As part of the booking process, the salon requires a 25% deposit for some services in order to secure your appointment slot.  This deposit will be applied to your services upon completion. 
If you cancel far in advance of the cancellation policy, the deposit can be refunded if you call the salon and make the request.  Refunds are not automatic.  For questions, please email 209downtownsalonspa@gmail.com

Late Policy:
We understand that situations arise from time to time that will delay the time of your appointment, however, we have a 15 minute grace period.  

Arriving after 15 minutes, you'll be asked to reschedule for a different day OR the stylist at his/her discretion will accommodate a portion of the scheduled service(s) depending on the remaining time and his/her scheduled day. 

Children:
We love children, but unfortunately, can not accomodate them unless they are receiving a service.  Children must not be left unattended anywhere on the salon floor.  Unfortunately, if you have a color service and if your child can't get picked up, we will have to reschedule for a different day.  We want to ensure your child is safe at all times.

Hair Product Return Policy:
If you find that you are unhappy with the products you have purchased, you may bring them back within 7 days to exchange for another product of equal or lesser value. 

Guarantee Services:
As an education based & focused salon the utmost importance is placed on the healthiest process and results. That being said, if at any point a client is not happy with their results we always prefer and want feedback. We want you to be happy but above all, we want to make sure the integrity and health of the hair is top priority. Sometimes that means several sessions are necessary. 

If you are not 100% satisfied, we ask that you contact us within 7 days of your appointment so that we may schedule to have your hair tweaked/corrected.  Any issues that arise after 7 days from your initial appointment date will not immediately be considered a redo but will be assessed on a case by case basis.
